Our Commenting Policy
Restrictions Required Due to Automated Blog Spam ‘Bots
BBCG encourages both comments and questions about pertinent employee benefits and insurance related issues. However, due to the bombardment of spam posters, we have found that even “open moderation” does not work well. We have therefore closed our blog to posting from non-registered users. Previously we allowed anyone visiting the blog to register as a “subscriber” (i.e., a reader). In general, registration was only required if a person wanted to leave a comment. We have also now closed “open registration.”
We still encourage participation of legitimate readers. If you would like to post comments or questions, please go to our contact page and use the email function and send us a request for manual registration by an administrator. If approved for registration, we will contact you with an initial user name and password. Once registered you will have access to the discussion functions. Also, please note that questions and comments are immediately relayed to the handheld device of a principal for reply in as timely a manner as possible.
Information required for registration:
1. User Name* (request a user name to be assigned if available)
2. Email address* (will not be published)
3. Web site
The first two items above items are mandatory for registration. Web site information is optional.
Also optional: a brief synopsis of your professional interest in the topics BBCG posts would be helpful to us in determining your eligibility for registration.
